WHEN YOUR SON DOES THE DRIVING....

You would have thought we were on a coffee tour...we went to 5 coffee shops in 3 days!  This was on our quick trip to Denver for SIL's graduation.  Even though you may know I'm not a coffee drinker, I DO like hot chocolate and didn't mind stopping since he was doing most of the driving.  Win-win!

Reverie in Wichita, KS - 2 thumbs up for Coffee and Dark Hot Chocolate

Huckleberry Roasters in Denver - 2 thumbs up for Coffee and Granola

Purple Door Coffee in Denver - 2 thumbs up for Espresso and Dark hot chocolate
(This is my daughter's former roommate and this coffee shop is a non-profit she helped establish to teach work skills to homeless people - pretty awesome!)

This lovely girl gets two thumbs up for hosting her mother and brother for an impromptu lunch.  She made us a beautiful frittata!

Another visit to Huckleberry (front view) to buy beans before we left town...my son loves this place!

We did stop again for coffee at Union Station in Hays, KS.  Unfortunately that stop wasn't worth a picture.  :(

Love road trips with our young adult children! And now you have coffee memories too (although I am with you on the dark hot chocolate!).
