MY NEW/OLD CHRISTMAS VIGNETTE...

One of my favorite things to display is my Dad and his sister's toy kitchen set from the 1940's.  But I never felt like I had a good place to put it that really does it justice.  They really need to be together so that takes up some space.  I think I finally found the perfect place - behind the eating booth in the kitchen (where the aquarium used to be)!  What do you think?

Take a look inside the fridge - it's loaded!

I love the little details on the kitchen sink too!

Here's the little mixer- just think if our mixers were half the size of the refrigerator!

Anyway, just something fun to share with you this holiday season!  Are you getting out any family treasures to display?

It's so sweet and pretty! How neat that I saw it in person yesterday :). I try to put out every Christmas decoration that I have that belonged to my grandparents. One of my favorites is my handmade stocking that was at my maternal grandparents house all of my life.

Those kitchens look so different then the one Maddie has! It's very cute! I on the other hand have not gotten out any decorations, without a fire place there isn't much to do. Hopefully next week since I won't be up to my ears in ballet pics and going to AR for Alicia's wedding I'll get some of that Christmas stuff out!
