MENTAL HEALTH DAY...

I preach a balanced life, but don't always live it. Total exhaustion has about pushed me over the edge. Guilty feelings about not seeing my Grandma, not attending Moms In Touch for 3 weeks, a house that is in desperate need of vacuuming and dusting (not to mention the toilets!), training for the half-marathon, expecting my daughter and friend this weekend and of course wanting to make wonderful recipes for her, tomato plants waiting to be put in the ground, senior table finished up...the list goes on and on.

I'm checking out today. That's one good thing about having all the kids in school! I'm taking a long, hot bath, and pulling out the Tony's pizzas for the fam. DON'T CALL ME!

Enjoy your day off. I took the day off of work, but I have a t-shirt quilt to finish, prom dress to hem and Jemma's birthday party to get ready for.

Did you really take a bath? I always think it sounds like such a good idea...but then never do it!

Yes, Marilyn,

I get a Parade magazine or something like that from the paper and hit the tub. That way if it gets wet it's no problem. I'm usually a little pruny when I get out...

SOOO I was running yesterday and passed you and your husband (it was around mile 10). I almost stopped and said...hey, I'm Ok Chick. I decided the middle of a half marathon, isn't the place to meet blogger folks. :)
Good job running!!! You guys looked great.
