PEOPLE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THINGS...
I learned this lesson long ago but sometimes I still need to be reminded! I vividly remember being in the church nursery and hearing one of the nursery nanas saying that in her conversation. I thought that was so wise and had never heard it put so simply. But it's so true and has come to my mind time and time again. This week I got the chance to get away from wedding preparations to meet my great-niece from Texas for the first time, so I took advantage of it.

These are soooooo cute!!!! The first one of her getting his ear and the second with his little wrinkled/worried look about what she was doing! Ha ha! Glad you got to "meet" her and spend more time with him! It's fun being great-aunts, isn't it? :)
