THINGS I'VE REALIZED WHILE BEING SNOWED IN...

No washing hair for 3 days is great!

Ditto for wearing makeup.

I'm really not too motivated to scrapbook anymore.

Hot fudge pudding cake is really awesome! It's gone now, though...

I don't really care anything about movies, either, unless my hubs wants to watch one.

I think I have ADD, I just go from one little chore to another.

Follies rescheduled? I'm not even emailing people yet. Let the volunteers come to me!

It's still too stinking cold in the garage to walk on the treadmill.

I think I've got the winter blues!

Things I realize while talking to you at church: you have really lovely skin. That probably sounds weird, but that's all I could think about. I can't really analyze your skin on the blog. Do you have any beauty secrets you can share?

Today's Verse
Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
— Ephesians 6:24 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

What do you have that lasts forever? Not much unless it is connected to the Lord Jesus Christ. So many things we love and pursue are hollow, fleeting, shallow, and vain. But grace comes, grace stays, and grace lives with those whose love is the Lord Jesus Christ. Neither time nor the grave can strip away our grace in him when he is our Lord and he is our love.

This verse and thought brought me back to reality today.

Thanks for trying to cheer me up, Gena. It must be genes, I don't use any special products. I have dry skin. Oil of Olay has been my moisturizer for years. I recently started using Pond's at night on my face and neck after I read an article about some 100 year old lady that used it forever.

I am not motivated to scrapbook either. Although I got all my stuff out and just looked at it.

I'm with you on the now make up or washing hair. I'm going to see if I can get my haircut today.

I think drinking lots of milk as a kid helped my skin. Of course it's probably genitics also.

I liked the not getting "fixed up" part while being snowed in! I'm sure the Follies stuff has been kind of crazy, though.
