DEFINITION OF A COUPLE...

of friends, to me, is two. Dos. Two other people besides yourself, for a total of three.

Just a little miscommunication between me and my youngest.

In our family, the last BIG birthday party is at 13 years old. But somehow, my youngest, on his 15th birthday managed to have 12 friends show up last night for his "party." I had planned on taking him and his friends to see "Toy Story 3." But seriously, we could barely fit all 13 kids in our 2 vehicles!!! For some reason he had them come over 2 hours before the movie, so I made a fast run to Cheezie's for Pizza and Walmart for those yummy Lofthouse cookies I never will buy them. The impromptu party turned out to be a hit, despite our miscommunication. I am such a softie, sometimes...

Good to know: Men need to hear the actual number. I will remember this....

I love birthday parties. I figure they only have so many until they aren't such a big deal anymore. Consider it a compliment that he would even want to have them over at that age!

Cheezie's for Pizza? Where is this place?

I think the birthday was a huge hit, and it looks like everyone had fun. Good job! You are great mom, turned great party planner.

OK Chick,

You are the 2nd person to ask about Cheezies!!! They're on 2nd street in the strip mall across from Freddy's between Coltrane and Bryant. $5 one topping pizzas, better than Little Caesars, especially since LC went up on their price!!!

But my DH will pay $10 for their supreme pizza, and we really like it! I am really waiting for Humble Pie to reopen, tho, I've heard great things about it!
