In the late 70's everyone had "feathered" hair or wanted it. Think Farrah Fawcett. Even guys wanted feathered bangs! Now my daughter has started a new trend! She came home from college with a blue feather woven into her hair and did it herself. She's now woven feathers and beads with embroidery floss into 2 other friends hair, so the feathered hair decoration will go back to OSU and Belmont!

I'm all for this fashion statement if we can avoid tattoos and body piercing!

I've seen people pay big bucks for similar things on vacation. She can start a fad at Harding and everyone can pay her.
I forgot to add that she's had it for a while, so it's washable and durable since she used some kind of weave like a friendship bracelet!
Yes, take the feathers over the alternative. My mom used to get on to me for various things (piercing the the top of my ear in college) and I would always say...it could be worse mom, WAY worse. Please, count your blessings.
Love it! She is so artistic. She needs to by Mia's mentor.
I noticed she was sportin' that bad boy when she came over to make cookies with us! Can't say enough great things about your girl! Love her!
